Connecting clients with better energy solutions

At CAG.Works, we believe there’s more than one way to power a building. The newest and most promising approach is Fault-Managed Power (FMP) — a flexible, intelligent, and inherently safe way to distribute electricity.

Our mission is to help clients understand, design, and deploy systems that take advantage of FMP’s unique benefits. Whether you’re developing new infrastructure or upgrading existing systems, we’ll guide you to smarter, safer, and more efficient power solutions.

Revolutionary technology

Fault-Managed Power (FMP) is transforming electricity delivery. It enables high-voltage transmission over low-voltage cabling—safely, efficiently, and intelligently. If a fault occurs, FMP cuts power in milliseconds and automatically restores it once the issue is resolved.

FMP is easier and less expensive to install than standard cabling, using significantly less copper thanks to thinner wires. It can transmit hundreds of volts over distances up to a mile, while providing built-in intelligence and precise control.

Smart, scalable services

Currently FMP is primarily being used to power DAS clusters for 5G cellular, large buildings, and other large-scale projects. We believe that this technology can be more widely used. We see no reason that it cannot be used on any scale for which it is an affordable solution.

We can help you evaluate FMP to see where it provides an affordable, high-performance solution.

Fault-Managed Power vs Traditional Wiring: 4 Critical Differences

When evaluating fault-managed power vs traditional wiring, the natural first question is: how do they actually differ? For anyone considering fault-managed power (FMP), that means understanding how it compares to the conventional AC branch-circuit wiring that has served as the default electrical infrastructure in commercial buildings for over a century. This is not a question […]

Smart Building Power Distribution: 5 Failure Points and the Fixes That Scale

Smart building power distribution is the part of the “smart building” conversation that gets ignored until something breaks. Everyone wants sensors, automation, AI-driven energy insights, and occupancy analytics. But none of it matters if powering all those endpoints turns into a never-ending series of exceptions, workarounds, and rushed installs.  Here’s the reality: the smarter a building […]
